Terms: Fulltime,

Recruitment; working closely with line managers to establish
resourcing needs. You will then manage the recruitment process from end to end
including advertising, sourcing, interviewing and offer management as well as
inducting new starters. There will be a strong focus to bring high level talent
into the business which is a strategy the position holder will have a strong
lead on.

Appraisals; A formal appraisal system needs to be maintained.
TGC expects the highest standards from all employees so performance needs to be
monitored closely and, where necessary, performance management measures need to
be put in place if these standards are not met.

Policy Implementation; Existing policies need to be kept
up-to-date and as legislation changes, new policies and procedures need to be
designed ahead of time and implemented smoothly.

Disciplinary and Grievance; There are low levels of
disciplinary and grievances within TGC. As and when they appear, line managers
take full responsibility for their own people and the position holder will act
as a support function but it will be expected for the Group HR Operations
Manager to track trends and produce data to support this.

Health & Safety; While the responsibility of the
maintenance and up-keep of machinery lies with the supervisors, it is the role
of the Group HR Operations Manager to ensure all compliance and paperwork is
kept up-to-date and on file so that reports can easily be pulled together for
Health & Safety inspections.
